How do I get a bank teller job?

I am assuming you have applied at a bank and/or online with
them. If not, start there.

The challenge that most people have is in thinking that
companies will hire anyone who “can” do the job. They want
people who “want” to work there. They need to see you as a
long term fit for the position and their culture.

 

Most people mess up because it is evident that they just want
a job while they pursue their real interest. For example; a
person with a BA in Journalism applies and even says “I want
to work here so I can pursue my journalism career on the
side. I hear you have good benefits.”

 

Also keep in mind that teller jobs are now sales jobs. They
have sales goals they need to meet so be sure that is
something you want to do.
