West Coast District Municipality: Bursaries 2018 in Western Cape
The West Coast District Municipality in partnership with the
Department of Local Government: Western Cape (Provincial
Treasury) will be offering two bursaries for full-time studies at
accredited tertiary institutions to youth residing in the West
Coast Region. First-year students are invited to apply for a
bursary for the 2018 academic year, which will be extended to a
maximum of three years, provided that the candidate adheres to
the bursary conditions. The bursary is restricted to full- time
study and attendance at an accredited University, University of
Technology or a registered Private Higher Education institution
and is eligible to individuals from historically disadvantaged
societal groups or individuals with disabilities. The maximum
estimated bursary amount for 2018 is R60000 per student.
