Gauteng Department of Agriculture invites applications from
unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2018 /
2019.

Stipend: R87k pa
Duties: All successful candidates will be
mentored and guided by the commercial farmer; Work as a farm
work as per the commodity requirements to improve productivity
in the commercial farm; Be prepared to learn farming skills as
guided by the commercial farmer; Attend training relevant to
farm commodity etc..
REQUIREMENTS: All unemployed agricultural
graduates with a National Diploma / Degree in Agriculture.
Interested applicants should be agricultural graduates
aged between the ages of 18 – 35 years, South African
citizen:unemployed graduates who have never participated in an
Internship programme or students that require Experiential
Training to complete their qualifications. Successful
candidates will be exposed to sign an Internship Agreement and
they will receive a monthly allowance or stipend which will be
determined by the exit level of their qualifications.
Candidates must attach their recently updated CV as well as
certified copies of Identity Document, Senior Certificate and
qualification including academic transcript.

NB: All short-listed candidates for SMS posts
will be subjected to a technical exercise that intends to test
relevant technical elements of the job, the logistics of which
will be communicated by the department. Following the
interview and technical exercise, the selection panel will
recommend candidates to attend a generic managerial competency
assessment (in compliance with the DPSA Directive on the
implementation of competency based assessments).
