Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work
  


• Registered with the SACSSP
  


• A clean record with the Child Protection and Sexual
  Offences registers
  


• Experience in the following fields would be an advantage:
  

• Providing therapeutic counselling to sexually abused and
  traumatised children
  


• Initiating and facilitating therapeutic
  


• Support and life skills groups with children
  


• Initiating and presenting Prevention and Early Intervention
  Programmes
  


• Presenting various relevant training workshops to adults
  


• Developing and presenting community programmes and being
  involved in community development
  


• Developing and presenting relevant programmes for youth and
  being involved in youth development
  


• Be knowledgeable of South African legislation regarding
  children and the Child Protection field
  

• Compile monthly and quarterly statistics (or as required)
  and writing reports
  


• 
  
  Research community issues, networking with welfare and
  other agencies Referral Services
  


• 
  
  Communication and Written Skills
  


• Administration Skills
  


• Language proficiency, English and Afrikaans
  


• Computer literacy
  


• Public Speaking Skills
  


• Valid
  Driver’s license and own vehicle essential
